I would also check with your local YMCA they have a ton of overnight camps all over the US and run a great program. They also offer scholarships and grants to help people send their kids to camp. They also offer that multi kid discount

I think it is great that you want to send your kids to camp! Some of my best memories are from my time at camp. I loved going every summer. Remember when you are choosing a camp to ask questions. Find out what the camps safety record is, what requirements they use for hiring their staff (are they trained in CPR). I would also check with the local B&B and see if they have had any complaints filed to them. Of course you can always ask for reviews on different websites. What a great way to spend the summer I am sure they are going to have a great time!

Camping sites near creeks?
Yocool
is there any place in southern california that has a camping place with creeks for children to play in?
thanks:)
Answer
south fork santa ana river campground (usfs)
Seven oaks camp ground (private)
O'Neil park (county)
Irvine lake (private)
West/east/north fork campgrounds san Gabriel river (public and private)
I have camped at all these spots the water is most consistent on the San Gabriel river which has the best fishing and gold panning, second is the Santa ana river. Parks in the OC are spring time only creeks and dry up to a trickle by july.
Some spots along the coast I have also been to have camp grounds on or near the creek.
