I've been to Manama, found it boring. I hear Doha is boring as well.

There are many interesting places in the Gulf, it depends on what you find interesting though.
For example:
Tthe UAE is well known for its many attractions such as its wide variety of entertainment parks such as Wild Wadi - a water theme park , shopping centres and malls such as Mercato Mall ( Dubai), Marina Mall( Abu Dhabi) and Bin Batutta Mall (again Dubai ). This mall is like a small global world , each part representing a country by it's architectural design and products. Nature wise each place in the UAE, is is known for something. Its sand dunes ( Wadi Bashing, Fun Sand Drives & barbecues and camping), Heritage sites such as old forts and other places, mountains regions and beaches where diving is popular. I could go on and on...
Oman: Salalah, is very popular and known as a really lush green region that would probably shock tourists from around the world. It's a beauty.
KSA: It has some really beautiful places, it is all in its landscape and outdoor marketing.

best places to camp and fish in northern california?
finn
Looking for a place to camp and fish with some buddies in northern california. I live in Napa so whatever is closest is great. I prefer it to have as little people as possible; no ugly campsites with a bunch of RVs. Really looking for a pretty remote and low populated area! Thanks!
