Where can I drive my jeep on the beach Near the Los Angeles area?

Just bought a brand new jeep wrangler and I would love to take it to the beach... but what beaches near the Los Angeles area allow you to drive on the beach?

Yeah I used to work at Dockweiler Beach and I'm sorry to tell you that no, you cannot drive it on the beach.....
I actually just bought a brand new wrangler too and want to take it to the beach.
The only place I've been to, where you can actually ride on the sand is at Pismo Beach near San Luis Obispo.
It's far but it's so much fun.... they are big sand dunes, you can camp on the beach over night... it's great for a weekend.
That's the closest to LA.....
