Spring Break Camping East Coast?

Woogie

My buddys I are trying to find a place to go camping for spring break. Last year we went to Jekyll Island had fun but want a place with more bars/people. We would like to so swimming so a warm body of water would be nice (does not have to be ocean). Also a beach would be nice. We are all in college so would like to stay away from the family type of camping. If anyone has a great place please let me know!

*We live in Dayton, Ohio and would not like to drive the whole trip

Answer
Myrtle Beach is nice if you want lots of people and partying. Watauga Lake, Boone, Blowing Rock are if you want less people, more relaxing, and still plenty of places to drink beer. And much closer drive.

Whats a some beautiful places to camp in the USA that are close to the east coast?

No where hot (Not in the south) washington is an exception..

Answer
I live in North Carolina and one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to was the Blue Ridge Mountains in NC. They have lots of places to camp (just google them)-- I know it's in the South but it really doesn't get that humid there in the summer. We live in the Southern part of the state where it gets real humid and we go there to cool off. : )
