Jason S
I'm looking for a good place to go camping with a few stipulations:
- Group Site
- Cool weather (under 80 degrees nothing scorching hot during the day)
- Fishing (Stream preferably)
- Lots of Trees! (Privacy will be KEY!)
- Pets allowed
Thanks in advance!
I'm looking for a good location somewhere in California. I've done hours of online research, so personal experience would be much appreciated.

Where is the most Beautiful place to camp in Arkansas?
Lovely E!
I wanna take my boyfriend on a kind of camping vacation for his birthday and last time we were in arkansas we saw the most beautiful scenery. im just wondering where the best place is to set up camp and enjoy it.
Answer
Both places mentioned above are good. The hiking at Devils Den is fairly tame. There are some caves to explore if your adventurous and not claustrophobic.
You could try the Mulberry River.
There's plenty of hiking, likely very wild.
There are several places to camp right on the river. I have camped at Redding many times. There are showers and the river is just steps away. You can canoe if you go in the spring. It's not much fun after that because its too shallow and you have to drag your canoe over the slippery rocks!
I've hiked that Hemmed-in hollow trail on the Buffalo. It's a great hike but brutal unless you are in good shape.
In fact I highly recommend going to the Buffalo river, it's just beautiful.
