best camping places in vancouver image

I'm planning on taking a couple of months to drive around the country in my wrangler. What are some of the best places in the US or Canada that I should definitely visit?
Answer
I agree with the other post - it depends upon what you like, but you don't want to do just one type of thing.
"1,000 Places to See in the United States and Canada Before You Die"
http://www.amazon.com/Places-United-States-Canada-updated/dp/0761163360/ref=pd_sim_b_2
is an amazing book - there are things to do, and places to see that if you don't know ahead of time, you might not include them.
Years ago, we spent 13 weeks camping around the US, and 2 years later went to Alaska/Canada for 9 weeks. Both times figured in: major Nat'l Parks, museums, relatives, friends, cities, 'exploration', and laying about. And spur-of-the-moment.
You want MY list?
Yellowstone, Yosemite, the drive to Key West, Washington DC (at least a week), the Grand Canyon, Natchez MS, Mt Rushmore (Wall Drug store, too), the Mall of America, Coney Island, Outer Banks, Catalina/Channel Islands, Monterrey Bay Aquarium, Vancouver Island, Great Lakes, Lake Tahoe, Taos/Santa Fe, Statue of Liberty, Death Valley, Mt McKinley, Niagara Falls, Memphis, Asheville NC (Biltmore Mansion), Getty Villa in Malibu CA,
there's so much more - but you see why there are lots of books about traveling.
