best camping places in oregon image
Rachael G
This summer my friends and I want to camp somewhere on the Oregon coast. What are two of the best campsites that offer privacy from other campers, tent sites, showers, and lots of scenery and fun stuff to do or see? Tell me why you like the campgrounds you picked, please.
Thank you!

Can anyone give me pointers about Redwood National Park?

I already know it's beautiful - I just need practical advice. Planning on a trip with our two pre-teen boys between April and August. When is the best time to go? How and when do I make reservations? Are there cabins within the park to rent (we don't really "camp") or places fairly close outside the park? My son wants to fish there -are there good spots? What else is there to do?
Also, I was reading that maybe we should continue driving North to see some places along the Oregon coast. Any advice there?
Thanks in advance - oh, we are coming from So. Cal. Maybe flying to Sacramento then driving.
Answer
Follow the news to see whether the National Parks are open. They seem to be closing them as of today.
