Preferably in the north east of England ? Me and some friends want a cheap drinking holiday so we have been looking around and the campsites generally look like they are for people who are just relaxing.
We dont want to be disturbing other peoples fun so I was wondering if there was anywhere we could go

If you go onto a mixed site, with tents and caravans and some have chalets, you'll find that most of them have a bar, a restaurant, and fun things for the kids.
My bit top end fave is way up at the top of Scotland at Cape Wrath.
The campsite bar is the village pub becaause the other option is the community hall with a bar, a long mile up a steep hill away and the next one is on the road to Tongue...but....yeah, that's a nice pub. Brill... If you have a driver who isn't drinking.
That campsite bar can hold 400 and boy does it rock some nights......read the first few lines of the review

Happy camping.....you're safe at Sango. There's a fence round the top of the cliff.....

Need advice about where to stay in Scotland?
Kathryn O'
We will be spending a week in Scotland, and I'd like to know various opinions about hotels or perhapes bed and breakfasts. Any suggestions? We will be there in July.
Answer
The visiting angler, whatever you need, will find a variety of good holiday accommodation throughout Scotland. Whatever your chosen location, from the Borders to Shetland, from the North Sea coast to the wild hills and lochs of the Western Isles, you will have a choice of excellent hotels, guest houses, self catering holiday cottages and numerous camping and caravan sites.
it's not my advice just suggest.
