My family are planning a three days camping trip and we want to bring our husky with us. What should we bring for him besides dog food?

Answer
Following are some safety tips for camping with a dog:

1. Protect your dog health by talking to the vet about flea and tick prevention.
Before leaving out for the camping trip with your dog, consider your pet health care needs for flea and tick prevention. Have a conversation with the veterinarian about the place youâll be camping, trends in the region, and the overall health of your dog.

2. Bring enough dog food.
Your dog will need more food than usual during the camping trip because that camping activities burn lots of extra calories. So you should take enough dog food and be generous with food if youâve had an especially active day.

3. Keep your dog warm at night.
If you have a multi-room family tent, itâs nice of you to let your dog sleep in the tent especially when outside is cold. If there is no more space for your dog inside the tent, make sure your dog will stay warm. Dogs lose heat from their noses, so they hide them when theyâre cold. In addition to a favorite bed, offer your dog blankets to burrow under. Dogs with short coats may even need an extra layer like a doggie sweater.

4. Get a good tie-out stake and choose the right ground location.
A metal corkscrew tie-out stake and 20-foot lead will allow your dog to safely enjoy the campsite. Check the stake often as tugging and wet conditions can loosen it, especially in sandy ground.

Please advice my family how to choose a 3 season tent for camping for 6 people.?

We would like to begin camping again this summer, but haven't done any since before our children were born. Please advice how to determine the best choices for our investment. We need 1 with a lot of room and at least room for an air mattress. We would prefer 1 with multiple rooms option but do not want poor quality. Anyone know anything about Turbo Tents? Any advice- will be great.

Answer
I haven't heard of turbo tents. A bit pricey I might say. If you want good quality, a stay dry guarantee, easy set up, and room for 6 + all your gear I recommend Colman Tents. And this model,
