best camping places on mw2 image

I am not good at mw2. I need to know what guns are good on what maps.Thanks!

Well Ddrum kinda summed it up. I'm just kinda gunna tell you my best guns on what maps, they might help.
Sub Base- I like to use an SMG (UMP.45) with a silencer on CQB (close quarter battle) with a nice shotgun, but if you unlock stuff with it stay away from the silencer for the shotguns, there range becomes horrible.
Wastland- I love to snipe with a M21 EBR, but you havn't unlocked that so go with a .50 cal or Intervention. NOTICE: If you do start sniping I highly recommend stopping power as a perk, it's pretty much always a one-shot kill, which can help you unlock more ghillie suits. If sniping dosn't work for you use M4A1 with a grenade launcher, it may be noob tubing, but it sure as cream cheese works in those tunnels (this is also a good map to get your pistol challenges up)
Estate- Sniping works well here too, but the Tar-21 takes the trophy for ARs here. If you don't feel that they are working for you, I can suggest that you use a Aug Hbar with a silencer, the damage is great and the silencer dosn't take enough range away that it can't be effective (not really any other LMGs work as well)
Afghan- ACR, but some people say the FAMAS works pretty well, I have used the FAL here and it works alright.
Scrapyard, Rust,- Anything with a grenade launcher and a nice shotgun to go with it =D
Karachi, Invasion - My shotgun has become almost my primary weapon in both maps, although I like to snipe at Invasion. When you get lvl 70 the AK-47 can dominate the battlefield at both maps.
Underpass- Snipe or be sniped
Terminal- as a low level you might just wanna use the First Recon default class, use the tactical knife to become the blade master on the field, but go ahead and try to use a USP.45 to get your challenges up with that. Other than that I would use an AR with a Grenade Launcher.
Skidrow- although I don't reccomend it if you want to use a riot shield this is a map that's good for it, thermal also helps on your guns if you plan to camp or guard your flag in Capture the Flag.
Rundown, Quarry- It's fun to snipe in both maps and a LMG could also work, but an ACR would be your best bet in ARs
Highrise- I suck here so my advice might make your team loose the game
Favela- Yay! my favorite place! I love this place because you can have so many kinds of guns that work well, sniping on the roof tops, grenade launching by the hill to the right of TF141's starting point, SMG's for stealth around the left of TF141's starting point, AR firefights in the houses, and running around with a tac knife through the alleyways.

why does everyone say that intervention is better than barret in mw2?

i personally don't quickscope. if i think i am going to a place where i might find enemies close to me, i would switch to my secondary.
i rarely get one shot one kills with the intervention but i get them very often with the barret.

It's really a matter of personal preferance:
The Intervention is a little more accurate and has a bit less kick than the Barret. Having more accuracy is self explanitory, but have less kick means that it takes less time to reaquire your target in the event you miss or don't kill with the first shot. Unfortunatly b/c of the the Intervention's slow rate of fire I often have to stare at the enemy for a second before my weapon is ready to fire again.
The Barret has more power, a faster rate of fire, and a larger magazine. I did some testing with my friends and found that the Barret has a higher penetration rate than the Intervention.
I think that the Intervention is better for quickscoping, the Barret is better for counter camping/sniping, and as far as plain old hard scoping I think both rifles are pretty equal. So ya its a matter of personal preferance and play style.
I'm at 5th prestige I primarily snipe and I have 15,000 more kills with the Barret than I do with the Intervention.
