best camping place in san diego image

My friends and I are looking for a place near San Diego to go camping that is by a lake we can swim, drink beer and have a campfire. There doesn't seem to be many around. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

So my parents want to go camping in CA, specifically around San Diego or Los Angeles. Though they're not sure were the best place to go. I'm not sure specifically what they mean by camping, but they want to go somewhere close to the beach and can go fishing.
