How to propose in Hong Kong?

I'm planning to prospose to my long time girlfriend who lives in hong kong. I'm not from there so I don't have a clue where it would be nice to propose. Also can you guys suggest how I can propose to her? I really want to make it special. So far I'm planning to surprise her by going there without her knowledge but I have no idea where to go from there. Do I bring flowers? Do I take her out to dinner? Or how bout a walk on the beach? The possibilities are endless. I don't wanna mess this up. ^_^

1) declarate the camp site,buy a gift & a flower , hid them
2) take her to the camp site (suppose everything is okay,namely,tent)
3) having a candle dinner for her,all food must be cook in frount of her (e.g. heart shape beef + red wine or cook wut u kno how to cook)suggest u to have cooking lessons!if the site is on the beach! ensure no sand go into the food!
4) now, she must b look very very very happy
5) give the the gift & flower , at the same time say "i Love u" or some sweet words

Is it legal to buy a knife on ebay? under 1inch?

I once bought a knife on ebay from hong kong, but the border patrol destroyed it because it was from another boarder. If i were to buy one from U.S. soil can they still destroy the knife? thank you

Buy that stuff in the US. My friend has bought axes, swords, machetes, knives and other things online w/ no problem. Check this site...


BTW, if your interested in a cheap machete, walmart sells them for $7 in store. Most walmarts have them, look in the camping/outdoors section.

Malaysian Chinese (The Chinese who migrated from their mainland to the Malay Land long time ago), what do u guys think? Does Malaysian chinese still love their mainland? Or They love Malaysia more?

I have come across many Malaysian Chinese working in the Mainland, they are very nice people and are hired mainly by foreign firms working in computer and admin departments due to their language ability, their pay is not as high as Hongkongers, Singaporeans and Taiwanese too.
Many of them see China is a place for their temporary job assignment, as for living permanently they´d prefer moving to Singapore over China.

DL, you are indeed a loyal CCP follower, you will not give up a single chance to bad mouth even your birth place in order to shoe shine CCP. What you said about the Vietnamese is just one-sided not supported by any news clip, article nor video.

In the 70s, if you are really born in Hong Kong you ought to know the City was not rich as today, the livilihood and standard of living then was quite similar to the Mainland of today, HK had only about 5 million population but had to support the daily living, meals, medicals, so forth of over half a million Vietnamese Refugees on the tiny island.

It is binded according to the UN rules that refugees are kept within a site in order to minimize disrutpions to the host country, refugees are not the same as immigrants, dont understand why you nor your Vietnamese friends not able to distinquish between the 2. Some Vietnamese stayed in HK for more than 10 years before US and other countries accepted them and some never get accepted and Hong Kong just have to take them as citizens instead of kicking them back to the sea or to China. After caring for all the Vietnam Refugees for more than 2 decades at Hong Kong taxpayers account, Hong Kong people had never complained nor asked UN for any compensations. During those 2 decades, some Vietnamese brought tremendous social problems to Hong Kong, money, medical and expenses is one of the burdens, the Refugees carried with them all sorts of diseases and mental illness after years of horrible fighting in their own country. Many Refugees sneaked out of the refugees camp, stole things from the neighborhood, some even committed serious crimes like murder,robbery and rape. If you are a real HK born you would not exaggerate things to bad mouth your own birth place in order to please your CCP boss. Please ask any refugees from all around the world ie those Africans staying in S. Italy due to the recent Lybian war, if any of them can travel around Italy at one´s own free will, and if any refugees ever given VIP or even immigrant treatment???

Since your 2 Vietnamese friends say China is treating them so terrific, why the hell they have to flee to the US and not go back to their motherland instead? This is such typical CCP tactics seen on CCTV, always good at making a fool out of themselves by bluffing and exaggerating the slightest tiny tinny.

To go back to this question, many Malaysian Chinese love to stay in Hong Kong, so you can say they love `China`.

Where can I find an Anbu mask/costume?

For Halloween, my son wants to be a character from the show Naruto and it requires finding an Anbu mask and/or complete costume. I checked Ebay, but everything is in Hong Kong with no returns accepted. I don't want to spend money and have it show up broken as that would leave me to fight to get my money back.

Any costume shops or internet sites that carry them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
